Born in Dayton, OH, and raised in Farmington, CT, Joy began studying singing, dancing, and acting at a very young age. She found her passion through weekend classes at the Hartt School of Music. She graduated from both Farmington High School and The Hartford Academy of Performing Arts as a Musical Theater Major. For college, she attended Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of Music, where she obtained a degree in Music Theater.

Some of Joy's favorite credits include touring the world with the West Side Story international tour, Ella in “Cinderella”, and Linda in “Holiday Inn”.

Joy currently resides in NYC with her goofball kitty, Moosh and fiance Julian. When not performing, Joy spends her time working for an educational nonprofit that supports charter schools in Missouri.
